Who are we?

Kingsoft, is one of the most prominent software companies in China. As a pioneer, Kingsoft is an innovative technology company focused on user productivity, software research and entertainment.

For eighteen years through the leadership of the executive team, Kingsoft have constantly delivered innovative software technologies that focus-on and improve the user experience. Today, Kingsoft has over 1,400 employees, with more than 800 of which engaged in research and development.

Kingsoft research and development centers based in Zhuhai, Beijing, Chengdu, and Dalian develop and test new technologies including research into areas such as usability studies, virus technologies and productivity. In 2005, we expanded into the Japanese market through Kingsoft Japan as a joint venture company.

In August 2006, the investment of $72 million of venture capital financing by Tetrad Ventures Pte Ltd which is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Government of Singapore Investment Corporation (Ventures) Pte Ltd, Intel Capital ( Cayman) Corporation, and New Horizon Goldensoft investment Co., Ltd. provides Kingsoft with a long-term financial support in expanding its business and promoting its technology-oriented and global strategies.

From 2001 Kingsoft Office has expanded their office productivity suite into a comprehensive set of applications containing a word processor, spreadsheets and presentation. At present, it has already won domestic popularity amongst users and is now poised to enter international markets.

Kingsoft Internet Security is famous for its leading technologies, main engines and smart tools. Additionally, we have also set up one of China's largest online communities, including the most popular domestic online English learning website www.iciba.com and the online games website www.xoyo.com.

Kingsoft continue to develop and maintain a number of applications including Kingsoft Office, Kingsoft Internet Security and a variety of online entertainment software such as the popular multiplayer online interactive game "JX Series" and "The First Myth series".
